Elite Rehabilitation and Care Center in Vestavia Hills is seeking an RN Administrator to lead the nursing team and advocate for residents and staff in a caring environment.

The Administrator will direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions, oversee charting, orders, medication administration, nursing duties, and ensure narcotics controls and reporting. We offer health insurance, vision, dental, and paid holidays, vacation and sick time.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
• Perform necessary nursing duties
• Perform administrative duties such as charting and completing medical forms and reports
• Receive physicians’ orders
• Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Prepare and administer medications as necessary
• Notify charge nurse of all drug and narcotic discrepancies
• Ensure the accuracy of narcotics records for shift
• Inform charge nurse of staffing needs
• Responsible for comprehensive nursing care
