Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will perform nursing tasks, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care per physician orders and regulatory guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license in the state and CPR certification, with 1 year of experience preferred, preferably in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Take and record residents' blood pressure and vital signs; administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
• Complete admission, transfer, and discharge forms.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work areas and resident rooms.
• Document nursing notes reflecting care provided and residents' responses.
• Direct and supervise daily CNA services for assigned unit to ensure proper care.
