Job summary
Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care and administer medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care plans and ensure quality outcomes.
Requirements include current LPN license, BLS, EPIC EHR experience or training, and 1 year of clinical patient care in acute or long-term care.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license required.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required for specialty areas.
- 1 year of clinical patient care experience preferred in acute care, long-term care, or physician practice.
- EPIC EHR training preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and administer medications under RN supervision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
- Collect and document patient data including pain, treatments, and plan-of-care updates.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate with team for plan revision.
