Job summary

Aimcareers is seeking a School Nurse (LPN) to provide service and 1:1 care for medically fragile students in Hartford, CT and surrounding areas for the 2026-2027 school year.

New grads are encouraged to apply. Per-diem and ongoing schedules are available, aligned with normal school hours and school operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license.
• Must have current in-person CPR certification.
• Ability to complete FBI, Child Abuse and Criminal background checks.
• Must provide up-to-date medical documents including physical, TB test and vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and take vitals under supervision of lead RN.
• Contact parents or guardians as necessary.
• Assist medically fragile students on bus runs or field trips by monitoring vitals and administering medication.

• May include assisting medically fragile children on bus runs or field trips by monitoring vitals and administering medication.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Current LPN license
• Current in person CPR
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, Vaccines as requested
