Job summary

Aimcareers is seeking a School Nurse (LPN) to provide per-diem and ongoing care at Hartford, CT area schools for the 2026-2027 year. You will administer medications and monitor vitals under the supervision of the lead school RN, ensuring safety for medically fragile students.

Current LPN license and in-person CPR are required, along with successful FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal clearances. You may be asked to assist during bus runs or field trips as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current LPN license.
• Current in-person CPR certification.
• Must pass FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal background clearances.
• Must provide health documents including physical examination, TB test, and vaccines as requested.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and take vitals under supervision of lead school RN.
• Contact parents or guardians when needed.
• Assist medically fragile students on bus runs or field trips by monitoring vitals and administering medication.
