The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend House Supervisor Days to oversee and direct evening/night activities at the facility. You will coordinate clinical and administrative tasks to ensure resident care aligns with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, while upholding quality controls and policy compliance.

The role requires Missouri RN licensure, 2 years of LTC nursing experience, and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity; strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license required.
• Two years of long-term care nursing experience.
• One year in a management/supervisor role.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain report from Administrative Assistants, Assistant Director of Nursing, and off-going House Supervisor.
• Make rounds to each nursing station and ensure quality control measures are in place and enforced.
• Complete records and administrative reports as required.
• Assist and support Charge Nurses with staff issues and the employee discipline process.
• Assist in orientation and monitoring of new employees.
• Communicate changes in policy and procedure to staff.
• Perform annual competency reviews and evaluations as assigned.
• Coordinate and assist with monthly checking of MARs, TARs, and medication counts.
• Provide facility-wide oversight of all departments and take administrative action if or when necessary, including employee disciplinary action.
• Facilitate conflict resolution with families/staff and use professional discretion with regards to problem solving and decision making.

Job Summary:

The Weekend House Supervisor Days is responsible for providing oversight and administrative direction to the facility's resident and employee activities of the evening/night shift at The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center. This position coordinates and manages the clinical and administrative activities, assumes the highest possible level of resident care within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and ensures quality control measures are in place and enforced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtains report from Administrative Assistants, Assistant Director of Nursing, and off-going House Supervisor, as appropriate.
• Makes rounds to each nursing station and ensures quality control measures are in place and enforced.
• Completes records and administrative reports as required.

Qualifications:

• Current Missouri license to practice as a registered professional nurse.
• Two years of long term care nursing experience, with one year in previous management/supervisor experience.
• Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities.
• Considerable initiative, judgment, and leadership skills are also required.
• Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills.

Working Conditions:

• Exposed to body fluids, infection, odors, and behavior of residents.
• May be subject to hostile and emotionally distraught residents, family members, and staff.
• May be required to lift, push, pull, or move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.

Salary:

$35 - $45 HOURLY
