Job summary

The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend House Supervisor Day shift to oversee residents and staff during the evening/night cycle. This role coordinates clinical and administrative activities, ensuring care quality within the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and enforcing quality controls across departments.

Qualifications include a Missouri RN license, 2+ years in long-term care with supervisory experience, and strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Two years of long term care nursing experience, with one year in management/supervisor roles.
• Strong interpersonal relations skills and ability to relate to diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Obtains report from Administrative Assistants, Assistant Director of Nursing, and off-going House Supervisor as appropriate.
• Makes rounds to nursing stations and enforces quality control measures.
• Completes records and administrative reports as required.
• Supports Charge Nurses with staff issues and the discipline process.
• Assists in orientation and monitoring of new employees.
• Communicates changes in policy and procedure to staff.
• Performs annual competency reviews and evaluations.
• Coordinates monthly checking of MARs, TARs, and medication counts.
• Oversees all departments and takes administrative action if necessary including disciplinary actions.
• Facilitates conflict resolution with families and staff.
