Christie Clinic’s Floats department seeks a full-time RN or LPN in Champaign, IL. Travel up to 60 miles may be required; sign-on and quarterly bonuses are available. Shift is 1st, Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm with no night or weekend work.

Required Illinois Nursing License and CPR. Nursing experience preferred and duties include patient care, medication administration and coordination with providers.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Illinois State Nursing License and CPR required.
• Professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatment as directed by provider.

Job Location: University (LLC) – Champaign, IL 61820.

Position type: Full Time. Education Level: 2‑Year Degree. Salary range: $22.94 – $44.55 per hour (based on RN or LPN). Shift: 1st shift, Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. No night or weekend requirements.

Christie Clinic’s Floats department is seeking a full‑time RN or LPN (Sign‑On Bonus & Quarterly Bonuses Available) with the ability to travel up to a 60‑mile radius of Champaign, Illinois. Eligible for quarterly bonuses after 90 days of employment.

Required credentials: Illinois State Nursing License and CPR. Professional nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and as directed by provider.
• Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment, examination and/or testing of the patient.
• Observe, record and report patient’s condition and reaction to medication and/or treatment to provider.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and provider regarding complaints, concerns, etc.
• Instruct patient and family regarding medication, treatment instructions and patient education.
• Demonstrate the ability to respond to triage calls using nursing assessment.
• Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit.
• Maintain relevant office supplies for department effectiveness.
• Attend a minimum of two monthly huddles (occurring after hours) per quarter.
• Perform related work as required.
• Travel to satellite Christie Clinic locations to cover departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Evidence of annual completion of health related courses and/or seminars with a certificate and/or CEU’s

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional nursing experience

Certificates / Licenses

• Possession of an Illinois State Registered Nurse License
• CPR Certification

Typical Physical Demands

Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range; vision correctable to 20/20; and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment. Amount varies by department.

Typical Working Conditions

Work is performed in a clinical setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, hazardous waste, bodily fluids and other waste common to a health care environment. Ionizing radiation and medicinal preparations are also common. Requirements may include working irregular hours.

Pay and Benefits

Estimated pay range exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related criteria.

Pay ranges:

• LPN: $22.94 – $31.54/hr.
• RN: $32.40 – $44.55/hr.
