Sumter East Health & Rehabilitation Center is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join a dedicated team in Sumter, SC. The role involves providing skilled nursing care on 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend, with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina RN or LPN license (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions; report changes promptly.
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care and clinical interventions.
• Complete nursing documentation and maintain resident medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
• Maintain resident rights, dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Keep environment clean, organized, and safe.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care while helping residents maintain their highest level of health, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to the appropriate provider.
• Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, treatments, and clinical interventions.
• Accurately complete nursing documentation and maintain resident medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and safety are maintained at all times.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

What We’re Looking For

• Current South Carolina RN or LPN License (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctualityCompassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to quality care
