Job summary

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our night shift nursing team at York, AL. This full-time position offers 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a base pay of $27.05-$29.55 per hour based on experience and an additional night shift differential of $3.00/hour.

• Current Alabama LPN license in good standing (REQUIRED).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly to the team.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the unit.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians and the care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety and regulatory requirements.

As an LPN, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, support CNAs, and work alongside our nursing team to provide quality care for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
