Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. seeks an Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in a facility setting.

Responsibilities include following federal and state guidelines, and performing duties as assigned by supervision to ensure high-quality care. Key tasks include adhering to facility policies, protecting resident confidentiality, assisting in admissions/discharges, and performing basic nursing duties such as hygiene and mobility support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license in good standing.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills (reading/writing).
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with laws and facility policies.
• Follow nursing department policies and procedures.
• Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect to appropriate supervisors.
• Treat residents and families with dignity and respect; maintain confidentiality.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled; assist in admissions and discharges.
