Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in a compassionate, compliant manner. You will follow federal, state, and local standards and report to the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor as needed to ensure high-quality care.

You will perform patient hygiene assistance, documentation, and charting, while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with the care team to support residents’ well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN license that is in good standing with the State.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills; read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per current standards and regulations.
• Comply with facility policies and nursing department procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect to the Administrator, Director of Nursing, or Unit Manager immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents; support daily hygiene and mobility needs.
• Complete charting and documentation reflecting care provided and resident response.
