Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in our Iowa facility. You will follow current standards and regulations under RCC Services or the Nurse Supervisor to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with admission/discharge, daily hygiene, monitoring resident conditions, performing routine procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. A valid LPN license is required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN license in good standing with the State.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Comply with Community policies and report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents.
• Assist residents with daily hygiene, mobility, and routine care tasks.
• Perform routine nursing procedures and charting as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Coordinate with staff to meet resident needs and ensure quality care.
