Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Nurse to provide direct care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with licensure. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, medication administration, education, and infection control in a resident-centered environment.

You will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing, ensuring documentation, privacy, and professional conduct while supporting front-line staffing during emergencies and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Skilled nursing facility experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess residents and update care plans.
• Recognizes emergencies and responds promptly.
• Administers medications accurately and on schedule.
• Performs treatments and procedures skillfully and on time.
• Educates residents and families and documents education.
• Maintains infection control practices and reports issues promptly.
• Documents care accurately and timely in resident records.
• Supervises nursing assistants as appropriate and ensures quality care.
