Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct resident care and supervise CNAs in a long-term care setting. The role reports to Nursing Leadership and ensures compliance with regulations.

The LPN must hold a current Utah LPN license and CPR certification, able to document care plans, administer medications, and participate in admissions, transfers, and QA activities while promoting teamwork and infection control.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in practicing state.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the LPNs and CNAs in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Provides direct resident care and supervises nursing staff.
• Prepares and administers medications per physician orders.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status and notifies physician/family; documents accordingly.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical records and follows orders.
• Manages admissions, discharges and transfers as required.
• Involves in care planning and QA activities; promotes infection control and teamwork.
