Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of residents or staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments and assist with ADLs.
• Draw blood and start/monitor IV fluids per physician orders.
• Delegate tasks to nursing assistants and supervise as needed.
• Record resident data and communicate with families and other staff.
