Lutheran Senior Services is seeking an LPN in Webster Groves, MO to provide and coordinate nursing care for residents. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role includes medication administration, potential IV therapy if certified, and thorough documentation in the EMR. Strong gerontological nursing experience and CPR certification are preferred for quality resident care.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in gerontological nursing preferred.
• Ability to lift 30lbs and push/pull 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing functions within licensure scope and follow Nurse Practice Act and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to define individualized resident care plans.
• Administer medications and oversee medication ordering/administration process.
• May initiate IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Maintain knowledge of observation/assessment and documentation including MDS as applicable.
• Utilize EMR to document clinical information per policy.
• Observe resident status and coordinate with services for continuity of care.
• Maintain safe, comfortable environment and assess potential hazards.
• Oversee certified staff to ensure EverTrue standards of care.
• Report incidents per state and federal regulations.
