Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients in Wilmington, NC. Trach and Vent experience is preferred.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care under prescribed orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety in the home setting. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse eligible to practice in the state.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• TB or Chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs of physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
