Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Wilmington, NC is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. Trach and Vent experience preferred.Join Maxim and provide skilled nursing care per orders, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Must hold an LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, have TB or Chest X-ray, and a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyzes, and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.
