Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Brunswick County, NC. Competitive hourly pay and weekly paychecks are offered.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, and monitoring patient status with timely documentation. LPN/LVN licensure in NC and current BLS are required, with TB test/Chest X-ray status up to date; 1 year

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in NC.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
