Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes in Hampstead, NC. The role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing care, assess patient conditions, and document clinical data. A valid LPN license, current BLS, and TB/Chest X-ray clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
