Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Fayetteville, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients.

Responsibilities include employing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, and monitoring patient status with documentation of findings. LPN/LVN licensure in the state is required, along with current TB/X-ray and BLS, and prior nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the practice state.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data; document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
