Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients in-home in or near the Burlington area. This position involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a home setting.

Applicants must hold an LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, have a current TB or chest X-ray, a current BLS card, and at least one year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
