Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse staff to provide skilled nursing care on assignments, following prescribed orders and nursing processes. You will assess signs and symptoms, plan and implement patient care, and document findings for ongoing care decisions.

Qualifications include state licensure as an LPN/LVN, current TB or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card. This is a clinical on-site role requiring professional nursing care delivery.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
