Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Rutherfordton, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7a to 3p. The role emphasizes patient assessment, wound and catheter care, and adherence to prescribed orders.

Competitive pay of $35–$37 per hour with weekly checks, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), PTO, and more. Maxim emphasizes strong patient care and support for caregivers.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
