PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the Fayette County Prison in Uniontown, PA.

The role provides comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of an RN and involves EMR management, documentation, and adherence to secure handling of medical information. The position is full-time with evening shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) and rotating weekends, plus a 2-week orientation.

Qualifications

• LPN license required in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain, update and secure electronic medical records.
• Record, retrieve, and file medical information in the inmate/patient medical record.
• Maintain accurate records of all controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps as required by law.
• Conduct sick calls for inmates/patients and treat illnesses/injuries per protocol.
