Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Practical Nurse program.
• No experience required.
• Current NC LPN license or compact license to begin work.
• BLS certification or equivalent life support.
• Ability to follow care plans and nursing orders.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed and document accordingly.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or physician.
• Follow doctor’s orders and the established nursing care plan.
• Report patient responses and adjust care plan with nurse oversight.
• Assist physicians and other staff in delivering patient care.
• Support diagnostic procedures and patient safety throughout shifts.
