Job summary

Duke Primary Care, Holly Spring Pediatrics, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Durham, NC. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, focusing on pediatric and family medicine services across our Holly Springs location.

Open 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. The role requires graduation from an approved Practical Nurse program, active NC LPN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Practical Nurse program.
• Current North Carolina LPN licensure (NLC) is required/preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Document patient care and communicate patient status to healthcare team.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and patient education as part of the care plan.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the clinical setting.
• Support care coordination and patient-family communication.
