Job summary

Duke Primary Care of Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, NC, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dedicated care team. The clinic provides comprehensive internal medicine services with an on-site lab and a focus on senior care.

Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday, with a commitment to high-quality patient care. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited LPN program and NC LPN licensure or NLC.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Practical Nurse program.
• NC LPN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Provide direct care to patients under supervision.
• Follow the doctor’s orders and nursing care plan.
• Report patient responses to care for evaluation and adjustments.
• Assist other healthcare staff in delivering patient care.
• Help doctors and nurses with diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Participate in training programs and help train new staff.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean care environment.
