LPN (Pre Operative) Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Details

Location: Amsterdam Nursing Home, New York City

Position: LPN Team Member (All Shifts)

Base Rate: $35.38/hr with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. Non-union rate: $45/hr.

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 for full-time positions.

We welcome new graduates! We are now hiring straight to the union.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from new residents for admission
• Record health details, including vital signs and temperature
• Administer medications and injections as needed
• Treat and dress wounds and bedsores
• Supervise CNAs if required
• Assist residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitor food and liquid intake and output

Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Valid NY State LPN license in good standing with the State Registry
