LPN (Pre Operative) Licensed Practical Nurse

Join Centers Health Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pre Operative and be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care.

Position Details

We are actively hiring LPNs for all shifts at Amsterdam Nursing Home, located in the heart of New York City. Our rates have recently increased, offering a competitive base rate of $35.38 per hour, with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. Non-union pay is $45/hr.

We are offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time positions. New graduates are welcome to apply! We are now hiring directly into the union.

Responsibilities

• Collecting required information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vital signs and temperature
• Administering medications and injections as needed
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring food and liquid intake and output

Requirements

• Valid NY State LPN license in good standing
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
