LPN (Pre Operative) Licensed Practical Nurse

Join us at Centers Health Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Pre-Operative department. We are actively hiring for all shifts at our skilled nursing facility located in the heart of New York City.

Position Details

Base rate is $35.38 per hour, with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. Non-union rate is $45/hr. We have recently increased our rates! We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions. We welcome new graduates and are now hiring directly into the union.

Responsibilities

• Collecting required information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vitals and temperature
• Administering medications and injections as needed
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring residents' food and liquid intake and output

Requirements

• Valid NY State LPN license
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
