Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric ventilator patients in the patients' homes. The role offers part-time and full-time opportunities and requires bilingual Spanish proficiency.

The nurse will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delivering services per orders on each assignment. Current LPN/LVN license, TB or Chest X-ray, and BLS are required, with one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in the practice state.
• TB or chest X-ray on file.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic or psychosocial changes.
• Document data and nursing diagnoses from health care team communications.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
