Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in the home setting. You will work as part of a dedicated team, providing safe, patient-centered care for G-tube, Trach and Ventilator needs.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess and plan care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, and monitoring changes in the patient’s condition. Must hold an LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X‑Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
