Maxim Healthcare in Arlington, VA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a pediatric patient with behavioral needs and a G-tube during the school week. Shifts are Monday through Friday 7:20am to 3:30pm; if school is canceled, the shift may be at the home.

This role offers competitive pay of $34–$36 per hour, weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for weekend shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray is current.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification current.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.

Shifts are Monday-Friday 7:20am-3:30pm in the school. If school is cancelled, the shift will be in the home. Weekends are also available.

Salary: $34-36 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
