Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric and/or adult patients in home settings. This role includes handling G-tube, trach, and ventilator needs on a per-assignment basis.

Locations include Chesapeake and Suffolk with overnight shifts from 10p-6a or 11p-7a. Competitive pay, weekly checks, benefits, and 401(k) are offered by Maxim to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
