Job description

Salary: $25 - $28 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Hebron is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a patient in their own homes in the Bridgeville, OH area. This is a DAY shift position with a PEDIATRIC client. Other local cases available.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient condition and report to appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness.
• Review care plans and protocols, identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN or LPN experience preferred.
