Job summary

The role supports the Admission Team Manager under supervision, with responsibilities including insurance verification, chart maintenance, and proactive coordination of nursing assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing with NY LPN licensure.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives intake and directs department calls; assists admissions.
• Coordinates day-to-day clinical functions, facilitates scheduling of assessments.
• Obtains demographic and insurance information; verifies insurance details.
• Obtains medical information for referrals and nursing assessments.
• Notifies supervisors of scheduling or documentation concerns.
• Enters all patient data into EMR; supports intake LPN triage.
