Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN in Georgia.
• Current BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care.
• Perform initial assessment on arrival and develop plan with Physician.
• Document nursing interventions and follow Physician orders timely.
• Administer medications and document regimen.
• Follow infection control and safety practices.
• Set priorities and coordinate care with MOAs and non-licensed staff.
• Provide mentorship and serve as preceptor to nursing students or new staff.
• Cross-train to perform basic radiological and laboratory functions.
• Conduct at least one clinically related in-service annually.
