Job summary

Vitality Living Franklin is seeking an LPN/Charge Nurse to join our caring community in Franklin, TN. You will administer medications, assist with treatments, and support care plans for residents under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

Qualified candidates hold an LPN license, CPR certification, and strong English communication skills. This on-site role offers part-time opportunities with benefits including retirement contributions and attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Administer or assist residents with medications and treatments.
• Collect, store and transport specimens for laboratory studies.
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax and forms.
• Document physician orders, lab reports and other data in resident charts.
• Assist in developing and revising service plans; inform Wellness Director of resident needs.
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director.

LPN/Charge Nurse Requirements:

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
• Collect, store, and ensure transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
