Vitality Living Spring Hill in Spring Hill, FL is seeking an LPN/Charge Nurse to join our caring team. You will administer and assist with resident medications, document care, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate service plans.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license and CPR certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in resident care and nursing home workflows desired.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist residents with medications and treatments.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens for lab studies as needed.
• Communicate with physicians via phone, fax, or forms.
• Ensure orders and data are filed in resident charts.
• Assist in developing and revising service plans with Wellness Director.
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director.

LPN/Charge Nurse Requirements:

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
• Collect, store, and ensure transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
