Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to assigned participants under RN supervision.
• Administers medications and initiates IV therapy per rules and procedures.
• Counsels or teaches patients/families as planned by RN.
• Communicates patient data to other caregivers per reporting guidelines.
• Maintains documentation to established standards.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team activities.
