Position Details

• Location: Douglas County Jail
• Position: Full-Time LPN or RN
• Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift Rotation, 6am - 6pm, with alternating weekends
• Sign-on & Retention Bonus

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, chart results, and establish nursing plans within State Scope of Practice and guidelines
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking
