Job summary

Brethren Care Village is seeking an LPN or RN in Ashland, Ohio. The role offers full-time, part-time or PRN options with day, evening, or night shifts to accommodate staffing needs.

Pay ranges from $24 to $33.80 per hour based on experience and licensure. Evening, night and weekend differentials apply, with a mission-driven, Christian-based senior living community serving since 1972.

Qualifications

• Current/valid LPN or RN license in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Onsite presence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing care standards and implements nursing department policies and procedures.
• Attends team care conferences as needed.
• Provides oral instructions to nursing assistants.
• Assesses residents and records pertinent information in resident records.
• Documents administration of medications per policies and procedures.
• Acts as team leader and supervisor.
• Interprets information and supports decisions for residents and families.

The LPN or RN's primary responsibilities include:

• Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the facilities nursing department including skin grids and treatments, preventative skin plans, preventative fall plans, incident reports and admission paperwork.
• Attends team care conferences as needed.
• Provides oral instructions to nursing assistants.
• Assess residents and records all pertinent information in resident's records.
• Document administration of medications according to facility policies and procedures.
• Functions as team leader and supervisor.
• Supplies and interprets information, supports decisions, and facilitates communications with residents and their families, and nursing assistants and support staff.
• Assures that resident's call lights are answered.
• Other duties as assigned.

What do I need as an LPN or RN?
