Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinical team on the Day shift. You will perform LPN duties as defined by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and contribute to the plan of care for patients.

The role emphasizes safe medication administration, maintaining clean exam rooms, documenting care, and supporting staff through training and collaboration with the department.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or retraining is required during orientation and maintained for duration of employment.
  • Prefer at least one year of clinical/physician-office or hospital patient care experience.

  • Contributes to development of a plan of care and follows through for selected patients.

Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Experience
  • Prefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC
  • Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
Compensation/Benefits
  • $18.80-$30.71/hr depending on previous work experience.
