Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. The role requires the ability to perform LPN duties as outlined by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and to contribute to the care plan for patients under supervision.

Medication administration must be performed with high safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate holds an Oklahoma LPN license, has current BLS, and prefers at least one year of clinical or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma is required.
• BLS training/recertification is required during orientation and maintained for employment duration.
• Prefer at least one year of clinical/physician-office, ER, or hospital patient-care experience.

Experience

• Prefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.

Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC

• Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
