Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees as needed.
• Meets with administration and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Conducts rounds to assess resident conditions and staff performance.
• Provides nursing reports at shift changes and ensures cleanliness of care areas.
• Supports QA in action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Performs administrative duties such as charting and forms.
• Interprets policies and provides direct nursing care as needed.
