Wellpath is seeking an LPN in Illinois to provide nursing care under RN supervision in a 12-hour night shift setting at our facility in Will County. You will assess patients, administer medications (including IV therapy if certified), support treatment plans, and participate in codes and safety protocols with a collaborative team.

The role requires a nursing degree from an accredited program, active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and preferably 1 year of clinic experience.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year clinic experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning.
• Implements treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications including IV therapy (if certified) and performing diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhering to safety techniques and standard precautions.
• Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development.
