Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Nightshift 3x12's to join our Nursing department in the United States. You will provide direct patient care in a mission-driven organization committed to underserved populations, with opportunities for professional growth.

Under RN supervision, you will administer medications, conduct assessments, and contribute to care planning. The role requires CPR certification and an active LPN license in the state of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum one year clinic experience preferred.
• Hold an active LPN license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients and contributes to individualized treatment planning.
• Administers medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performs diagnostic tests as per protocol.
• Counts controlled substances at shift start and responds to codes within standard guidelines.
• Documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting and communicates with staff, physicians, and other personnel.
• Attends mandatory meetings and training, upholding policies to provide high-quality patient care.
