Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts (7pm-7am) in Kirkwood, MO. Join our nursing team in a post-acute care setting with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth.

The LPN provides high-quality care under physician orders, collaborates with RNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team, and helps ensure resident comfort and safety. Missouri licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri LPN license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR Certification
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or post-acute care preferred
• Strong clinical and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per physician orders and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents for condition changes and report to RN or physician
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team
• Provide resident and family education as appropriate
• Follow infection prevention policies and procedures
• Support QA/QI initiatives
• Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs
• Maintain a safe, compassionate resident-centered environment
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and state and federal regulations. Working alongside Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, the LPN plays a vital role in promoting resident comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR Certification
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or post-acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
